One of our rooms is the delightful Attic Suite. It is found at the top of the house, occupying the whole of the second floor. It is accessed via quite a steep set of stairs from the first floor. Only guests checked into the Attic Suite use this staircase. It is not suitable for limited mobility guests although it is a great way to get fit!
The living room is beautifully light and airy with very high vaulted ceilings and skylights. This sitting room area is open plan to the stairs so although it is private there is occasionally some noise from the stairwell when other guests enter or leave their rooms on the floor below.
There is a library of books in The Attic Suite which you are welcome to read during your stay. We do ask that you do not take them with you. There are also some fabulous jigsaw puzzles and games. The living area makes a wonderful reading room or space just to unwind, relax and discuss your day's activities.
Like all of our rooms here, the Attic Suite has a stunning antique King size bed. Each bed has cool crisp white linen sheets and feather pillows and duck down duvets. The bedroom has two skylights each with black out blinds for your comfort during those long light summer nights.
The marble bathroom is cool and quirky with sloping ceilings and uneven walls. There are two skylights to gaze up at the stars from the double ended bath tub. A powerful walk in daisy shower adds the finishing touch to this gorgeous private bathroom. As in each bathroom, we give you the fluffiest of thick white towels and some delicious designer toiletries.
The Attic Suite is like your own loft apartment and we hope you will love it as much as we do.
